Professor Maria Rosaria Mauro graduated in Political Science and obtained a PhD in International Law (La Sapienza University of Rome, 1999).

She is currently full professor of International Law at the University of Molise and lecturer at Luiss in Rome. She has been visiting professor at the University of Granada (Spain).

She has worked as an expert for International Trade Law at the Ministry of Foreign Trade and in the General Directorate for Trade Promotion of the Ministry of Productive Activities as the person in charge of economic and trade relations with China.

She has been a consultant to leading companies in the telecommunications sector.

She is the author and editor of numerous volumes and over two hundred publications on international investment protection, international agreements and international trade law.
