Professor Federico Pernazza took part in the organisation of the annual AIDA conference, entitled “Le identità del vino” (‘The Identities of Wine’), as part of the PRIN 2022 project: ‘Towards a sustainable agrifood system: legal tools for the development of the European agrifood supply chain’.

The event was held at the University of Molise on 8 and 9 November 2024, coordinated by the University of Bari, with the involvement, as operational units, of the University of Florence, the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, the University of Northern Piedmont and the University of Molise.

In planning the work, the organisers identified the wine supply chain as a particularly suitable paradigm to represent the new and complex dynamics that characterise the agrifood sector, not only at national level.

In planning the work, the organisers identified the wine supply chain as a particularly suitable paradigm to represent the new and complex dynamics that characterise the agri-food sector, not only at national and European level, but also on an international scale. This sector, in fact, exemplifies the organisation of the production chain summarised in the now well-known formula “From farm to fork”.

During the session on 8 November, Professor Pernazza presented his contribution entitled ‘Wine labelling and consumer choices’.
